Education

eduRail GmbH organizes and conducts public and company-specific education and training courses in the railway / rail sector, with a focus on technology.

Our basic offer are public introductory courses in railway technology, which are usually carried out twice a year and run for 16 weeks with one evening per week. The interaction between the shifting parts of the railway and the interlinking function between the infrastructure and the railway undertaking (RU) will be specifically monitored.
Customers include infrastructure operators, RUs and integrated rail companies as well as project engineering companies, manufacturers and suppliers of rail infrastructure equipment and rolling stock.
The benefit to customers is that they can directly deploy new employees without basic railway knowledge, after having attended a suitable course at eduRail, without having to teach them basic internal training. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to network with other students and speakers in the field of railway technology.

The public introductory course in railway engineering is organized in cooperation with the Bern University of Applied Sciences, department Engineering and Information Technology, supported by the VöV Association of Public Transport.

In addition, in cooperation with the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT) of ETH Zurich and the Institute of Data Analysis and Process Design (IDP) of Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), public courses on RAMS / LCC in railway projects are offered.

Furthermore, we offer tailor-made company-specific further education, see our credentials.
